He drove from Camp Roberts to my work yesterday to surprise me at lunch and what a wonderful surprise it was! I loved the way he looked at me when he first saw me, I felt the love and it made my heart skip a beat. I missed him dearly and didn't realize what a huge part of my life he has become. We've never been apart this long, and three weeks when you are a newlywed is a very, very long time.
As soon as I got off work and he got home from the Armory we spent some time together as Husband and Wife. I loved just being with him and realizing that he gets to sleep next to me, and when I wake up he will still be there. It's a great feeling knowing your best friend gets to spend the night everynight for the rest of your life! I never thought I would get married so all of these "feelings" I have for him is confusing, but I know he's my soulmate.
We ended up going to Jack's Urban Eats for dinner and he seemed like a happy boy. I'm sure eating Military Food was not exactly pleasant. I loved seeing him so happy, and being able to sit down and have a meal together for the first ime since we got Married. Tonight we are going over to my parent's house to watch the Giant's win Game 3 in the World Series, and tomorrow he has the day off so we are going to try to make it out to the pumpkin patch. We went last year and it would be fun to make it a tradition. Can't wait to get home and see him! Happy Friday everyone!
