Newborn niece

Yesterday was Veteran's Day! My husband currently serves in the military so it was a special time for us to celebrate. The company he works for had him working even though it was a Holiday, but he was off early enough for us to go out and have fun.

We decided to go over to his mom's house to visit and see our new niece! Let me tell you, she is BEAUTIFUL! I am so thankful I got to hold her while she is still tiny, it was love at first sight. She will be such a joy to watch grow up, and if she is anything like her mom, she will be quite a nice young lady.

After we saw the baby, we went out to dinner at Chevy's. We had a nice date together and I was glad I got to spend some quality time with the one I love. We are excited for the things to come... Who knows, maybe we will have a baby Pierce on the way this time next year! For right now, though, just going to enjoy loving on my new niece.
