La Trattoria Bohemia

This past week was rough.  Had to rush to the Emergency Room Thursday night/Friday morning because I felt like I was passing kidney stones. Luckily it was just a very severe Bladder Infection (TMI I know, sorry).  So for the past six days I’ve had a fever and haven’t felt like doing much.  Last night, however, I convinced myself to take my husband to my favorite pizza spot.  La Trattoria Bohemia in the heart of midtown.  It’s a little Italian-Czech spot that lets you sample the beer first, and everything is FRESH!  We decided to sit inside, although the porch had cyclone heating thingies… not sure what they are actually called.

Cheers from Ron!

My husband ordered a 21 ounce Premium Dark Lager that he said tasted like candy.  Apparently it had a caramel flavor to it, and he finished the beer without a problem.  He even considered a second one, but decided he better not if we wanted to make it home.  I offered to drive, but he doesn’t feel safe with me behind  the wheel….  We also ordered Bruschetta as well as some Dipping sauce to go with our bread before our meal.  It was delicious!   Everything went perfectly with our Margarita Special Pizza which consisted of olive oil, fresh Mozzarella, chicken, tomato and artichoke.  I can’t stress how wonderful everything tasted.  We both agreed that we need to make this our “spot”.

Friday night we have a date planned to try a new restaurant down the street from us with another couple. We are becoming a couple of foodies!
