Honeymoon in Hawaii

'Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again.
Saturday is the big day.  Ron and I are finally leaving for our much-needed honeymoon.  I have never felt this desperate for a vacation in my LIFE.  Between the charitable campaign at work, the new job I started, and the daily grind I am exhausted.  Poor Ron must be the same way considering he does hard labor on top of most of the duties around the house.  He’s such a great man I love him to pieces!
We are going to Honalulu, HI.  Waikiki Beach to be exact! Fortunately we were able to get a room on the beach in the military hotel.  The great thing about it is the drinks are cheap and the moral is good!  Everyone staying there will be in the military!  Ron and I have so many fun things we want to do: the North Shore, snorkeling, surfing lessons, hiking, relaxing on the beach, shopping.  We seriously can’t wait!  I’m a little nervous for the plane ride over there but once I’m in the air it should be ok.
While we are away my mom has been gracious enough to paint our entire downstairs for us!  We are going with a neutral tan color which will go great with the gray we want to do for the bathrooms/bedrooms.  When we come back it will look like a new home!  Hopefully I can remember to do some before/after shots of the house.  After our trip we are going to be updating a lot in the condo so stay tuned for some DIY posts!
